We would like for your rescue to email (deanawehr@alltel.net) when a pet is adopted from your rescue. We do like to know what happens after the pet has left our shelter.
Do you understand that it is mandatory that the animal you are rescuing from us be spayed/neutered before going to your rescue? (There are exceptions with puppies due to age and size) Yes    No

Our policy with rescue is:

Payment for vetting must be made prior to transport with all new rescues. You can either pay by Pay-Pal or call the shelter and pay by credit card; money orders are also accepted. Payment must be made prior to transport with all new rescues.

Our vetting prices to rescue

  • $45 (DHLPP/borditella, rabies if 4+ months, de-worming with strongid, spay/neuter)
  • $15 heartworm test (only preformed on dogs over 6 months of age, unless otherwise requested)
  • $15 health certificate (these are necessary for traveling across state lines) This $15 covers 1 dog/cat or a litter of puppies/kittens under 4 months of age~They are thoroughly health examined and travel w/ legal health cert
  • $15 Feluke & Aids testing for cats
  • $6 rabies if animal is came to us altered (only preformed on dogs/cats over 4 months of age)
  • $10 dhlpp/bordetella if animal is came to us altered
  • Drontal Plus is available but Varies on weight for each dog/cat.....prices can be quoted if this is desired by your rescue.
  • $9.50 Cat Revolution, $10-$11 for Frontline Plus
One last question: after you have offered rescue, if the dog/puppy gets adopted through our shelter before transport, to a "good" home, is that OK? Yes    No
